About the Opportunity 

The Principal Consultant, Services Sales, is responsible for driving service sales by leveraging in-depth industry knowledge, strategic consulting expertise, and excellent relationship-building skills. This role involves defining the roadmap for the customer journey by identifying customer needs, developing application landscape and  service solutions, selling the value of the implementation approach, and guiding the sales process to closure. The Principal Consultant will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement services sales strategies to support license growth
  • Prepare and present proposals and sales presentations to prospective customers
  • Develop services implementation estimates and statements of work to represent solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with customers to outline application architecture and solutions based on Kantata products that address their unique requirements
What You Bring to this Role 
  • Proven track record of successful sales and consulting experience in a SaaS services organization
  • Strong understanding of service sales processes and methodologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Solid grasp of the EMEA region (primarily Europe) with understanding of regional differences and country specific business practices
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships with various levels of personnel ranging from technical resources to C-Suite executives
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle complex situations that require quick thinking and strategic responses
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Experience with the Salesforce Platform (business or technical)
Additional Information
  • This role is a hybrid role with the expectation that you’ll be working from our London, England office on average 1-2 times per week.
  • The ideal candidate will be based in GMT time covering the EMEA region.
  • This is a hybrid role that may work remote or in the office.  We expect there will be times when meeting for an in person event will be necessary for your role.  
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20%
