Position : Principal, Compliance
(Intro of the role)
You will be required to quickly establish cosmetics and medical device(MD) products auditing principles with different stakeholder to lead the first line inspectors in completing daily SDP audits to ensure that all cosmetics and medical devices sold online by Coupang Taiwan comply with Taiwan regulatory requirements.
On the other hand, you will support the global sourcing team in applying for the required product licenses or system registrations to ensure prompt and compliant importation and sales to satisfy our consumers.
What will you do?
- Evaluate cosmetics/MD products during onboarding process to prevent non-compliant products being onboarded
- Review and correct SDP to avoid noncompliant advertising on SDP
- Register our cosmetics/MD products for traceability reporting as required in TW
- Counseling and training vendors to be able to submit products or necessary information in compliance with Taiwan regulations.
- Keeping track of changes in new regulations and amendments to ensure that the company complies with government regulations.
- Depending on the type of cosmetics ensure that the necessary authorities are logged into the system with correct information.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of related experience in medical device and cosmetics regulatory practice, or background and knowledge in medical device, cosmetics, biomedical or related fields is a plus.
- Has managed different types of consumer medical device and cosmetics.
- Familiar with relevant product certification procedures, e.g. medical device license application, cosmetic PIF document preparation.
- Familiar with Taiwan's regulatory requirements and have experience in reviewing the content of related product advertisements.
- Ability to write reports clearly in English.
- Familiar with excel and pivot
- Experience in managing in e-commerce or large retailer is a plus.
- Qualification as the Cosmetic SA document signatory is a plus.
