Arcadis is seeking a National Account Leader in building Architecture – U.S. Federal Civilian Agencies to help grow our Government and Civic Practice across the US. This position is focused on focused on overseeing account management of select US Federal and civilian agencies.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Account Strategy
- Lead development of client account strategy in line with Arcadis business objectives and market sector strategies through annual and multi-year plans
- Prepare and execute account plans to translate strategy into concrete objectives, actions, and outcomes
- Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of the target clients and the Government & Civic sector to identify key trends and emerging opportunities, with existing clients and across the sector
Client Development
- Drive overall growth in client account plan bookings, gross margin, and collections to meet or exceed planned targets
- Manages client management practices by aligning opportunities with firm's credential, business, and growth objectives and strategies
- Collaborates with Government Market Leader to establish yearly KPIs that are focused on client engagement
- Mines existing government IDIQ vehicles for future task orders
- Attends industry and networking events, seeks out speaker opportunities, and contributes to the federal market debate externally
- Serves as a key contributor during client meetings and presentations
- Adopts company-wide processes for customer databases, relationship management, and customer experience
- Represents the project or practice as a key contact for client interaction
- Develop and expand a network of relationships across Operations and Solutions, leveraging these to enable Arcadis to have maximum impact with our clients
- Capture client data on regional accounts, including track record, case studies, sales collateral relationship history and delivery lessons learned, and make available to support continuous improvement across accounts managed
- Manage pursuits, contribute to bid/no-bid decisions by providing account knowledge, oversee proposal preparation and support the achievement of successful pursuits.
- Manage the account pipeline and feed opportunities into the business line pipeline to ensure an optimal flow of pursuits to achieve set targets.
- Work collaboratively with Solutions and Service leaders to manage development and alignment of Arcadis value propositions into commercially viable propositions for the account, demonstrating value-creating outcomes for our clients
- Develop and leverage a network of enduring relationships across the client to understand their business needs, position Arcadis as a trusted partner and contribute to growth of Arcadis’ relationship with clients
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5 or more years of relevant experience leading client development activities with the government market with net order intake greater than $10-M
- 10 or more years of experience leading accounts or programs of work for federal clients
- Excellent leadership and motivation skills
- Experience managing internal business relationships at executive level
