The Price analytics and operations specialist is conducting in-depth analysis of pricing trends, co-managing pricing processes (own responsibility in field of CST/2 Wheel) and ensuring accurate and timely updates across various platforms. He/She collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize our pricing offer, enhance profitability and ensure market competitiveness. By utilizing advanced data analytics, he/she identifies opportunities for pricing improvements and supports decision-making process. This role helps drive revenue growth, operational efficiency and a more strategic approach to pricing management.
- Monitoring sell-in/sell-out prices and market conditions to drive proactive adjustments
- Proactively drive exchange with all involved teams/colleagues (eg. pricing, BI, sales, controlling) to challenge/validate monitoring output striving to provide most realistic base for decision making
- Co-developing pricing strategies aligned with SEE growth objectives (main focus on Specialty and 2-Wheel tyres), conducting competitive analysis and – upon demand - preparing price lists for B2B customers
- Supporting the implementation of pricing adjustments, promotions, bonus and discount structures while ensuring consistency and compliance across systems (eg. PL&CCS creation support, condition overview support, Salesforce etc.)
- (support) preparing tenders and other special price support requests
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, finance, etc.) to support developing pricing models and proposals, implement pricing changes and assess their impact on revenue, cost, and profit margins
- providing regular updates/reports to leadership and maintain pricing guidelines and procedures
- Acting as a key user for internal price monitoring tools and ensuring effective communication of pricing projects to all stakeholders.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging best practices in pricing optimization
- Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, finance, economics or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of pricing, controlling or accounting experience represents an advantage;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong ability to interpret analyzed data and suggest optimizations if needed
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools as well as MS Word, Power BI, PowerPoint
- Comfortable working with large datasets and complex pricing models
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Good to excellent knowledge of English.
