Presales Solution Consultant - Field Service Management - Remote Opportunity

The IFS North American team seeks a Business Solution Consultant who will work as part of the Field Service Management Sales Team. You will play a vital role in generating significant sales revenue and gross margin for IFS and should have a strong desire to work as part of a team with Sales Account Managers, consultants, and prospective customers. In this role, you will respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assess the degree of application fit, prepare and present demonstrations to convey how the application will benefit the customer and set proper expectations throughout the process in partnership with the Sales Team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct prospect seminars and surveys to identify key business issues, understand the prospect business pains and how IFS capabilities address those aspects in regards to Field Service Management.
  • Map key business issues to IFS functionality.
  • Prepare and present compelling “Proof of Value” product demonstrations.
  • Innovate and apply new demonstration approaches and techniques.
  • Continually embrace new functional and technological products.
  • Prepare industry-specific tool kits including PowerPoint, Business Models, Demonstration scripts, demo data, and white papers.
  • Prepare written updates as required, including but not limited to status reports, sales win strategies, and demonstration assessments.
  • Actively participate in trade shows and other marketing activities.
  • Have a valid passport and the ability to travel 50% of the time.

Skills, Knowledge & Behaviors Required:

  • 5 years’ experience in selling cloud enterprise software, preferably in Field Service Management.
  • Strong business and application software knowledge required
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas with simplicity.
  • A successful track record in pre-sales consulting utilizing sales methodology, such as Solution Selling, Value Engineering, or Target Account Selling is preferred.
  • A strong self-starter initiative and drive with a strong attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team to solve customer’s business challenges and contribute to a positive work environment.

Education:

BA/BS in a Business or Information related discipline or equivalent experience.
