We are looking for a Pre-sales Engineer with clear customer satisfaction orientation working closely to the sales team acting as a technical expert to support the sale of complex technical products or services. The role is to help potential, and existing customers understand how the product or service works, answering technical questions, and providing customized demonstrations or proof-of-concepts to show how the product can solve the customer's specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Become a technical referent for Wallbox Products, working closely with the account teams to understand customer technical objections and develop strategies to solve technical blockers.
- Help the Sales team move toward closing by making customer product demos a positive experience.
- Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth prospect-to-customer transitions and long-term customer success.
- Participate in the development processes as market and competitor experts.
- Develop and maintain technical training material and tools in cooperation with Marketing and Services to ensure that customers get appropriate updates, upgrades and relevant information and solutions.
- Ensure customer information is up to date and accurate by using the company's tools and systems.
- Support our Sales team with technical product knowledge and objection handling in customer meetings, with travel as required.
- Have direct on-site contact with key accounts if needed to address issues.
- Ensure that Wallbox Partners consistently provide excellent and industry-leading levels of Quality and Customer Service.
- Support and consolidate Wallbox Partners Network.
- Know every detail of Wallbox solutions (including our third-party integration), and understand how technical solutions are run and installed.
- Identify faults in Wallbox Partner Network and rectify them in a timely manner to avoid any major problems in the future.
- Address, review and solve any issues with Wallbox Products
- Be responsible for the delivery of every installation within the QA standards.
- Support Tenders' team when needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales or consultative technical sales within the fields of electric vehicles, renewable energy, or electronic/electrical components.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.
- Interest in electric vehicles and renewable energies
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive attitude and ability to self-learn.
- Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting, resolving customers' queries and providing training.
- Ability to manage and adapt to fast-changing priorities.
- Ability to work closely with end-users in a consulting, services or support capability.
- Travel as required.
- Native in French and high level of English. Other languages are a plus.
