Presales Consultant dedicated to the Civica Revenues and Benefits solution, you will be the primary expert for demonstrating and tailoring our software to meet the unique needs of UK local government revenues and benefits departments.
You will support the sales team by showcasing the specific features and benefits of our Revenues and Benefits solution, providing insights into regulatory compliance, and working closely with techn As a P ical teams.
You’ll also engage directly with Revenues and Benefits department to understand their challenges, pain points, position our solution’s value, and ensure alignment with sector-specific requirements.
Requirements
Specialised Presales Support for Civica Revenues and Benefits
- Serve as the go-to subject matter expert for our Revenues and Benefits software product, assisting sales teams in positioning our solutions to local government clients.
- Develop and communicate presales strategies that highlight the strengths of our Revenues and Benefits solution in addressing specific customer needs.
Technical Consultation & Requirements Gathering
- Engage in consultative discussions to understand customer requirements, offering solutions and configurations that address operational and compliance-related needs.
- Conduct discovery sessions to gather technical and functional requirements, ensuring proposed solutions are a precise fit.
Tailored Product Demonstrations
- Deliver engaging, specialised product demonstrations focused on the Revenues and Benefits functions, addressing customer-specific pain points identified during discovery.
Response Management
- Provide specialised input for bid and proposal responses related to functionality, ensuring the solution capabilities are clearly articulated.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build trusted relationships with Revenues and Benefits stakeholders, including technical and operational leads, to gain insight into challenges and trends within revenues and benefits.
- Act as a liaison between customers and our internal teams, ensuring that solution designs align with customer requirements.
Solution Design for Revenues and Benefit Needs
- Work closely with the product and technical teams to define customer solutions and integrations.
- Stay current on regulatory and policy changes impacting local government revenues and benefits, ensuring our solutions remain compliant and responsive to evolving requirements.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct targeted market research to stay informed about trends, challenges, and competitors in the Revs and Bens domain within local government.
- Provide insights to support the sales and product teams in refining our Revenues and Benefits offerings and identifying opportunities for differentiation.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years in a presales, solution consulting, or technical sales role within the software industry, with experience in Revenues and Benefits.
- Sector Knowledge: strong understanding of Revenues and Benefits operations, including the unique challenges and regulatory requirements of sector.
- Public Sector Networks: Existing network within local government Revs and Bens departments and familiarity with procurement frameworks such as G-Cloud and CCS.
- Project Involvement: Experience supporting project implementation within local government Revenues and Benefits departments.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to meeting Revenues and Benefits customer needs.
