Devoteam is looking for an International Senior Pre-Sales Professional with a very solid track record conducting subject matter Cloud Managed Services (CMS) Pre-Sales work into complex opportunities across borders and cross technology platforms. The Pre-Sales Professional will have a very strong drive to support sales in taking a case through the various sales stages and have excellent stakeholder management skills to represent managed services offerings in a bid team for the identified cases. It is required to be experienced in international Pre-Sales deals at a high level and C-level customer engagement is a must. Teamwork is key to success as Devoteam is a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders and decision makers.

As an International Pre-Sales Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with prospective clients, understanding their business needs, and showcasing the value of our Managed Cloud Services. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing strategic relationships, and contributing to the growth of our international business.

SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

          Client Engagement:

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their business requirements and challenges.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments to tailor solutions that align with clients' objectives.
  • Support Country Sales in pitching CMS standard offerings
  • Lead validation of non-standard service requirements or client tailored solutions in close corporation with CMS Leadership and Service Development department.

    Solution Design:
  • Collaborate with the technical team to design customized Managed Cloud Services solutions.
  • Build transition plans in close collaboration with operations and service management team.
  • Understand cost drivers and build cost estimates for commercial decision with CMS Leadership.
  • Position cloud managed services in the wider context of clients’ cloud journeys.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the proposed solutions to clients.

    Technical Expertise:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrate a solid cross cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS & GCP) in general.
  • Demonstrate very deep technical knowledge of CMS defined managed services.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud computing, infrastructure, and related technologies in general.

    Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure seamless handover of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with international teams to share best practices and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Engage actively with CMS Pre-Sales team to develop and share knowledge and build quality proposal assets.

    Proposal Development:
  • Prepare detailed and compelling proposals, including technical specifications, transition plans, pricing models, and service-level agreements.
  • Ensure proposals are aligned with clients' needs and business objectives.
  • Build Statement of Work and related contractual appendixes and drive internal and external review process.
  • Support deal negotiations and find mutually beneficial solutions during the closing process. Provide confidence and assertiveness to advocate for the proposed solutions and address client concerns.

    Relationship Building:
  • Internal relationship development with country sales professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and IT decision-makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing their IT environments.

    International Travel:
  • Be willing to travel internationally as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • More than 20 years proven experience in a pre-sales or offering specialist role within the Managed Cloud Services or IT services industry.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and infrastructure technologies on one or more of the platforms (Azure, AWS & GCP).
  • Solid commercial and contractual understanding in the context of managed services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and closing large, complex deals in an international environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
