About the role
We are looking for a paid PR & Marketing Coordinator to join our Nordic Marcomms team, based in Stockholm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a person that shows a real passion for podcasts, and has demonstrable skills and/or experience in PR and marketing.
You will work closely with the Nordics PR & Marketing Manager, supporting across all activity for the Acast brand in the Nordics. Including supporting marketing campaigns across all channels, assisting with Acast and industry events, supporting Acast’s PR activity and managing Acast's social media accounts
You need to be passionate about podcasts, have an understanding of the media industry, and be able to juggle multiple projects at once. You need to be proactive, organized, creative and able to be a great ambassador for Acast and our podcasts. This is a 12 month fixed term contract starts as soon as possible.
What you’ll do
PR/Comms
In this role, you will write and edit press materials in both Swedish and English, including pitches, press releases, and other content, while securing media coverage and coordinating interviews with spokespeople as needed.
You will monitor media coverage across the podcast and media industries, including competitors, and report relevant insights to the team.
Building and maintaining media lists, researching journalists using media databases, and collaborating with the Nordic Content team to promote podcast launches and news will be essential parts of your responsibilities.
Additionally, you’ll track and report PR metrics, maintain PR assets, and ensure accurate product information.
Marketing
On the marketing side, you’ll support the Nordic team in planning and executing events across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, including advertising events, sponsorships, and agency activations, while maintaining a regional events calendar.
You’ll assist with marketing campaigns, such as managing partnerships, house ad campaigns, photo shoots, and content creation, and contribute to Acast’s social media efforts in Sweden with content for organic and paid campaigns. Lastly, you’ll provide general support to the MarComms team, including administrative tasks as needed.
Who you are
You are an experienced communicator with a background in PR, either through an internship or employment at a PR agency.
You excel in both written and verbal communication in Swedish and English, with a passion for creating various types of content, such as articles, briefings, internal documents, and copywriting. You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring precision in spelling, grammar, and proofreading.
Building and maintaining strong relationships comes naturally to you, and you handle interactions with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels with professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanor. You are conversant in digital and social media, creative and idea-driven, and enjoy contributing proactive ideas that positively impact the business.
Familiarity with tools like PR monitoring platforms (e.g.,Cision), Keynote, Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, Microsoft Suite, and Google Suite is a plus—or you’re eager to learn.
You thrive both as an independent contributor and as a collaborative team player, working across global teams on projects, launches, and announcements.
Experience in event management, whether through work or placements, is an advantage. Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
