PowerPoint Design Specialist

We are looking for a technically savvy, creative PowerPoint Design Specialist to create visually stunning PowerPoint presentation tools that will make an impact, drive value, build upon the Hitachi Solutions’ brand promise, and create premium presentation experiences for stakeholders, customers, partners, and prospective customers. The Specialist will also collaborate with our Graphic Designer to create on-brand graphics for website, social media and content to ensure brand consistency across all of our marketing assets.

The Marketing Content Design specialist is an exciting opportunity and plays a key role on the Marketing team and will have broad global responsibility for the creation, and ongoing refresh cycle, of engaging presentations and marketing content.

This person will work closely with a range of stakeholders, including sales and service teams, business line marketing, regional counterparts, agency partners, and executive staff to both create new as well as beautify existing materials.

As a Marketing Content Design Specialist at Hitachi Solutions, this person will have the power and creative freedom (within brand guidelines) to create engaging presentations for our leadership, sales, and customer teams.

To be successful in this role, this person must possess superior marketing skills, understand the importance of a company brand and its purpose, and be well versed on the use of a variety of visual, creative, and technical skills to ensure stunning PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials are crafted to incorporate uniform content and engaging visual elements.

This person must be a master storyteller and thrive using a variety of multimedia platforms to showcase services and capabilities, sell the brand, and promote the company, its products, services, and its purpose and must have experience with graphics, charts, infographics, color themes, master templates, animations, hyperlinking, transitions, actions, and video to create presentations that effectively communicate our story.

• Must be able to build/construct modular presentations that can be used singularly as well as combined with other modules to tell a complete story.
• Create on-brand graphics and assets for website, social and other mediums as necessary, so proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is a must.
• Have a background or experience in marketing or brand management.
• Possess outstanding attention to detail and takes pride in conveying the company purpose, goals, and messages through outstanding visuals/graphics.
• Responsible for the conception and execution of detailed PowerPoint presentations utilizing advanced PowerPoint functions.
• Possess strong technical skills for creating templates in Excel, Word.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, work on many projects simultaneously, and work in a virtual team environment, be a strong collaborator, proactive problem solver, and holistic visionary
• Ability to consistently uphold brand and style guidelines, and communicate and potentially teach these standards to others internally
• Ability to help turn ideas into design through intake sessions with leaders and whiteboarding sessions and consulting on language/content
• Possess outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to tell a story through outstanding visuals/graphics
• Experience editing and condensing language.

• Qualifications

• Applicants must provide presentation samples/portfolio upon request.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Minimum 5-year professional PowerPoint presentation design experience
• BS/BA Degree in Marketing or Graphic Design

Base Salary Pay Range*: USD $73,000 – USD $86,000 

*The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills relevant to the role, internal equity, alignment with market data, or other law.
