Purpose of Job
As Post-Production Assistant, you’ll be supporting post-production by ensuring it runs smoothly, along with confirming information is up to date between post-production coordinators, and other departments. As an outsourcer it is high quality that brings clients back, and it is returning clients that keep the awards coming.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
· Keep all written information up to date: tracking, databases, diary schedules etc.,
· Notes and actions on all post production meetings and team announcements are followed up in a timely manner, with to-do lists and kanban board tasks met.
· Assist the delivery schedule, reminding the team if something needs to be done and making sure everyone has what they need in terms of materials, equipment, questions answered etc taking on any extra work that needs to be done to keep things moving smoothly.
· Accomplish, review, and approve department hours highlighting any concerns to the Head of Post-Production.
· Make sure that QA and editing is completed to the highest standards and to schedule, if provided.
· Liaise with staff about the best practices for the post-production pipeline.
· Assist on upcoming workflow preparation.
· Maintain and update post-production hardware and software in your region.
· Develop post-production services, processes, and workflow as part of a global team.
· Report to line manager regarding any staff or workflow issues.
· Be on-site as and when required to assist staff and project requirements.

Requirements
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
· Have great oral and written communication skills.
· Be very organised and have very good attention to detail.
· Stay calm under pressure, be able to multitask and prioritise the most important tasks first and meet deadlines.
· Be able to take direction, while also using initiative to see problems that might need to be solved.
· Experience working with many files across multiple projects and languages.
· Experienced user of spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling software to organise your work, i.e. using Google sheets and Microsoft Excel to a high level of detail.
· Excellent team-working skills.
· Used DAW applications such as Pro-Tools, Audition, RX, or other similar software (bonus).
· Fluent in English
