At Civica, we are seeking a talented and driven professional to join our team as a post M&A Integration Project Planner. This role is pivotal to the success of our integration initiatives, ensuring that planning, coordination, and execution run seamlessly across all workstreams, after the recent acquisition of an established and well-regarded SaaS education product business here at Civica APAC.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining a consolidated post M&A integration plan while collaborating closely with Civica workstream leads to develop detailed plans specific to each area. By identifying delivery risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies, you will align activities across workstreams, ensuring a cohesive and efficient process. Additionally, you will provide guidance and coaching on project management tools and templates to enhance team performance.

You will organise project meetings and workshops, set agendas, and produce detailed minutes. Furthermore, you will identify and develop key content for integration-related communications to keep stakeholders informed. You drive the seamless planning of software integration post M&A to ensure teams are set up for future success.

Requirements

What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Prior post-merger (M&A) integration experience is critical - we're looking for examples of previous experience working on similar projects where you've successfully planned & coordinated software integrations successfully
  • Proven experience in managing and co-ordinating projects on integration projects, ideally across time zones where the deal objective has been to drive revenue growth. Ideally experience of project managing at least 3 integrations
  • Experience supporting workstreams with analysis and handling ad hoc requests, assisting in the implementation of programme governance frameworks, and ensuring project tracking tools are used effectively
  • Experience maintaining the programme RAID log will be a key task, alongside preparing and coordinating materials for Steering Group meetings
  • Strong understanding of integration project management methodologies, tools and plans to realise revenue synergies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and challenge stakeholders at all levels  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and reporting skills
  • A passion for driving innovation and delivering exceptional results
