Kepak Mclntosh Donald are looking for Positive Release Operatives to join our team on part-time basis.

Working Pattern: 27.5h/week, Monday to Friday, 12pm-6pm.

Starting Pay Rate: £11.44/h

Role Purpose

Working as part of the positive release team, ensuring products are checked in accordance with client specifications.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify individual vacuum-packed cuts of meat and placing them in to specified containers/boxes.
  • Recognition of different cuts of meat that legally must be weighed and labelled correctly.
  • Placing trays/boxes on correct pallets to customer specification.
  • Recognising and placing selected cuts of meat into correct customer specified bags.
  • Remove out of specification product, and store as required.
  • Straightening prepack bags that are already on production line..
  • Identify and work with production to correct defects in products.
  • Inform and guide production operatives on food safety and customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and legible documented records.
  • Maintaining good understanding and knowledge of customer specifications.

  • Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable to change and production demands.
