Your role is to drive the Method sales process across client pursuits. You will partner with Method’s subject matter experts and parent company partners (GlobalLogic and Hitachi) to advance our sales pursuits through:

  • Coordination of sales activities, including:
    • Driving client proposal activities (coordinating internal Method pursuit teams, facilitating development of collateral, ensuring adherence to pursuit deadlines, etc.)
    • Partnering with Method’s subject matter experts and parent company partners on go-to-market sales strategy (including marketing research and development of Method’s competitive positioning)
    • Leading execution of contracting activities (e.g., SOW development, pricing and profitability modeling, contract execution, etc.)
  • Serving as a point of contact for client and parent company leads throughout the sales process
  • Engaging with Method’s discipline leads and resource management teams to coordinate staffing needs for new projects

Success for your role will be primarily measured by: 

  1. Pursuit of new client accounts: Partnering with Method’s subject matter experts and parent company partners (GlobalLogic and Hitachi), develop sales pitches to acquire new client logos for Method
  2. Growth of existing accounts: Partnering with Method’s account leadership teams, assist with sales-related activities to grow accounts into long-term streams of sustainable revenue for Method

The potential for career growth exists as - after having demonstrated proficiency with the responsibilities of a Sales Associate - you may transition into a sales or client leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and become expert in Method’s services
  • Support the development of sales materials to support prospecting meetings
  • Facilitate the Method sales process - both for Method-only pursuits as well as pursuits with our parent companies, GlobalLogic and Hitachi
  • Accurately manage CRM management tool(s) (e.g., Salesforce) 
  • Partner with Method leaders as well as GlobalLogic and Hitachi’s global teams to grow industry verticals and move opportunities through the sales process
  • Partner with Method leaders to manage key parent company relationships with GlobalLogic and Hitachi partners
  • Travel as necessary to pursue business develop opportunities (up to 25% of the time)

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in consulting, client management, and/or or sales operations 
  • Previous experience contributing to business development pursuits, including proposal development
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with expert practitioners to move prospects through the sales process and close new business opportunities
  • Naturally collaborative and comfortable working with others from different disciplines, companies, and cultures on new business pursuits 
  • Advanced organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated and naturally relationship-driven
  • Other important areas of understanding / expertise include general business acumen, strategic thinking, problem solving/analysis, financial management, customer/client focus, communication skills (written communication (e.g., presentation development) is critically important))
