Position Summary
The Visa Consulting Manager will provide consulting support and projects to Visa's key clients in CISSSE (17 countries). The primary goal of this role is to assist Visa clients in enhancing the performance of their card portfolios through a comprehensive approach to portfolio management and conducting portfolio performance optimization activities. Additionally, the Manager will contribute to developing VCA tools and methodologies for card portfolio management.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Area
Deliver Consulting projects, addressing complex strategic issues, and managing intricate project structures when necessary.
Oversee, facilitate, and implement consulting services, ensuring alignment with client's business objectives (assignment goals, project scope, budget, documentation, external consultants supervision, and project delivery).
Collaborate closely with Visa vendors and other Visa departments, including Product, Digital Solutions, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships, Marketing, etc., to secure optimal outcomes for Visa clients.
When needed, manage external experts and/or campaign managers for projects requiring external support:
Ensure excellent coordination and oversight of external consultants deliverables.
Assist in the selection, recruitment, and onboarding of external experts.
Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of external experts.
If required, work on client premises to design and manage the implementation of initiatives identified during consulting engagements.
Develop project proposals and obtain new consulting assignments with clients, including re-engagement opportunities via a consultative sales approach within designated markets.
Utilize Visa and external data to analyze client needs across target markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with Visa’s key clients.
Develop and deliver training programs to clients, sharing best practices and knowledge.
Collaborate with Visa functional teams (Finance, Audit, Legal, Tax, Sourcing) to establish and implement processes that optimize vendor engagement and client relationships.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Key Competencies:
• At least 5 years of experience in card portfolio management or customer relationship management at a major retail bank.
• Proficient in analyzing card portfolio performance, developing strategies for card portfolio growth, implementing systematic approaches to card portfolio management, and experienced in running portfolio optimization campaigns.
• Experience with marketing automation tools.
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools.
• Management consulting experience within the retail banking and/or payments sector is highly desirable.
• Excellent clients contact and presentation skills, credibility with clients and working teams, and diplomatic skills to achieve desired outcomes. Comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of both clients and Visa.
• Superior project management capabilities and fluent communication skills.
• Results-driven, adaptable, and focused on customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
• Willing to travel and work on client sites.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently using one's own initiative.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, capable of working effectively with cross-disciplinary teams.

• Bachelor's degree required, master’s degree preferred.
• Fluency in English, Ukrainian is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages would be an asset.
