About the Role:
This role will be responsible for overseeing the organization's commercial portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, optimizing resource utilization, and driving successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of projects within the assigned portfolio.
Develop and maintain the portfolio management framework, including governance, processes, and tools.
Collaborate with senior leadership to define and manage strategic objectives and ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals using OKRs.
Monitor project progress, performance, and risk factors, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Facilitate regular portfolio reviews and reporting to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across projects to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio management practices and delivery capabilities.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree in business, engineering or a related field (MBA, or equivalent).
Project management certification such as PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 is required.
Extensive experience in project, program or portfolio management, typically 4-6 years.
Proven track record of successfully managing portfolios and achieving strong returns.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
