Optime Group are looking for as a Porter at Heathrow Airport. You will be an integral part of the Removals and Porterage team, working for a high-profile client. This role involves physical tasks, ideal for someone who enjoys an active workday.
Hours per week: 40 per work.
Pay Per hour £13.27
Working hours between 07:45 - 15:45
Main Duties:
- Execute room moves, furniture setups, and adjustments as required.
- Transport furniture and equipment between various locations.
- Deliver materials and consumables to different Heathrow sites.
- Collect and dispose of confidential waste according to site procedures.
- Support removal activities, including furniture assembly, cable management, and power distribution.
- Conduct minor repairs on furniture.
- Assist with the porterage of furniture and other deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Attend toolbox talks and mandatory training sessions.
- Maintain all equipment (e.g., skates, tools) in good condition.
Please note: Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
Requirements for Success:
- Driving License: Full driving license required (company vehicle provided).
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of current regulations.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently or as part of a small team with a proactive attitude.
- Communication Skills: Effective communicator with awareness of service level agreements.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work at various locations.
- Professional Appearance: Must maintain a smart appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
- Experience: Previous experience in porterage or customer service is desirable but not essential.
- Uniform and PPE: Responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of provided uniform and PPE.
- Punctuality: Must demonstrate reliable time management.
