Job Summary:
Coordinate all operational Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing (PNT) aspects prior to patient test, including scheduling, rescheduling, paperwork, and answering/facilitating patients’ non-clinical questions. Serve as patient’s logistical point of contact prior to test.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Create patient profile in EHR, match w/PNT clinician, and schedule PNT Initial Appointments (IAs) with PNT clinician and (includes: registering new patient demographics, referral reason, patient insurance)
Schedule testing appointments
Explain details of testing to patient, including length of test, time expected to be in the office, overall process, and cost estimate
Serve as liaison between billing team and patient to facilitate discussion with patient re: BV and out of pocket costs, and between CBO and clinician regarding insurance authorizations
Confirm appointment with patients (phone) within 1 week prior to testing appointment (includes confirming receipt of “Financial Agreement and Consent for Testing Services (FACTS)”)
Responsible for ensuring that the patient receives and signs “Financial Agreement and Consent for Testing Services (FACTS)”
Check whether paperwork has been completed prior to patients’ appointments and connect with patients prior to their appointment if they have not completed their paperwork
Help patients through portal process and/or telehealth platform, if needed
Reach out to patients ahead of their first appointment if there is a benefit coverage concern
Serve as point of contact for patients who need to cancel or reschedule their PNT appointments
As needed, reschedule testing appointments and testing follow up appointments
Required Skills/Abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
2 years of customer service care experience; experience in healthcare is highly preferred
Prior knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA regulations would be advantageous
Ability to multitask
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
