The PMO engineer is responsible for support projects from initiation to close, making sure the work gets done efficiently and satisfactorily. Will work as team leaders with day-to-day schedules that are constantly changing. Will feel comfortable with planning the project process, follow up on budget compliance, managing communicating with internal and external clients.
The main activities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- PMO or Scrum certification highly desirable.
- Setting and managing client expectations, develop or support the development of project plans, follow up the scope of the projects by assigning tasks to the right person, understand project risks and work actively to avoid or mitigate them.
- Is accountable for the effective communication and coordination among the stakeholders and team members to overcome issues or delays on the projects.
- Is responsible for monitoring and reporting progress of milestones and deliverables.
- Is highly adaptable and has a natural tendency for problem solving to keep control of a project.
- Is responsible for tracking the data through the process, and plan for next steps, next stage or even project scalability.
- Is responsible for evaluating efficiency and effectiveness.
- Is capable of supporting budget management and compliance.
- Is responsible of providing updates and share a clear vision of project status.
- Is responsible of getting key stakeholders together to promote agile decision making.
Basic Qualifications:
- Industrial, Mechanical & Administrative Engineering or related.
- English fluent, excellent communication skills written and verbal is a MUST
- 4 or more years of experience managing engineering related projects.
- Proactive, self-manage skilled.
