Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PMC Engineering Coordinator (Construction) to manage and coordinate engineering activities for a high-profile Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Basra, Iraq. The Engineering Coordinator will ensure seamless communication between engineering and construction teams, oversee design implementation, and ensure that engineering deliverables meet project specifications, quality standards, and schedules. This role demands strong technical expertise, organizational skills, and experience in large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering and construction teams, ensuring alignment on design implementation and project requirements.
- Coordinate the review and approval of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and calculations, for construction activities.
- Ensure that engineering designs are fully integrated into construction plans and executed in compliance with project specifications.
- Address and resolve technical queries (TQ) raised during construction, escalating critical issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Monitor and track the progress of engineering deliverables to ensure timely completion and submission.
- Conduct site visits to ensure construction activities align with engineering designs and quality standards.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per engineering requirements.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, technical documentation, and status updates for project stakeholders.
- Support risk management activities by identifying and mitigating engineering-related risks during construction.
- Promote adherence to HSE policies and ensure compliance with safety standards in all engineering and construction activities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline).

Experience:
- 8-12 years of experience in engineering coordination, with a focus on Oil & Gas or pipeline construction projects.
- Proven experience in a PMC environment and working in Iraq or similar regions is highly desirable.
