THE POSITION

PLT Tire Room Cycle Time Manager

1. Must be self-motivated and be able to maintain a fast pace, organized, and reliable work ethic.
2. Must be willing to work other shifts.
3. Ensure all TBMs are cycling at the correct IE rate by adjusting speeds, flow controls and ensuring equipment is working properly.
4. Perform time studies to ensure that machine performance and builder performance is optimized. 
5. Track and record changes made to machines for reference.
6. Provide support for set- up when encountering issues with optimizing machine speed.
7. Provide weekly updated information of rate changes.
8. Track daily machine and builder performance. 
9. Must be able to do Size changes on all machines.
10. Provide support to fellow managers with inventory or TBM recipe issues.
11. Perform all duties of a set-up technician (III) in all aspects and areas of job requirements. Including but not limited to tooling, recipes, changeovers, etc. 
12. Track changeover efficiency.
13. Calibrate machines for CGMS rollout and maintain calibration. 
14. Assist recipe managers with CGMS on machines and train set-up technicians (III) with start-up and adjustments.
15. Track scrap and provide support and answers for main causes of scrap.     
16. Perform other duties as directed by leadership.
17. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Basic Qualifications:
High High School Diploma and 1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience required.  Two years Tire Room Experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Continental is not able to offer visa support

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience or Associates Degree
