Platform Manager ITM (IKEA Transport Management, Oracle) – Supply Chain, Inter IKEA Supply Chain Development

To realize our ambitions in the IKEA Supply Strategy, IKEA has recognized the need to improve and modernize our work methods. We are upgrading our current IKEA Transport Management Platform (ITM) and harmonizing and standardizing our Transport Business processes for all of IKEA. This new position is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in the ITM - next generation journey, which includes migrating the Oracle Platform to the cloud to support improve efficiency and decision-making within the Business Organization.

We are looking for a Platform Manager with an accountability for the IKEA Oracle Transport Management Platform. You will lead the technology development and operations for the IKEA platform and its surrounding applications that support the Ikea business within the Supply Chain Operations and logistics.

You will build, lead and develop the Platform team, which is part of the Supply Data & technology department. You will also lead the evolution of the technology landscape that support our IKEA Supply transformation ambitions, identifying and establishing the relevant technologies and operate the necessary platforms.

More specifically, in this role you will be:

  • Accountable for the IKEA Transport Platform’s technical development, integration, infrastructure, operations, solution designs, and roadmap to ensure uniformity across Inter IKEA.
  • Lead and manage the platform team, collaborating with other product teams to define objectives (OKRs), ensure high availability and reliability, and drive Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Oversee all aspects of delivery, including performance, financials, continuous improvement, and lifecycle plans aligned with the targeted technology landscape.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across IKEA to identify deliverables and manage test- and release processes, while fostering co-workers' growth and performance.
  • Develop and manage the budget, ensuring compliance with data security, privacy regulations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, and generate performance reports for senior management and stakeholders.

To be successful in this job you have:

  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills, while guiding, supporting and coaching teams towards clear objectives.
  • Expertise in large-scale Oracle platforms, specifically Oracle Transport Management, within an integrated landscape.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, integrated planning, and managing complex programs like cloud migration.
  • Experience in data security, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, and financial management of budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices in Oracle and cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
