Platform Engineering is the function which provides the foundation for the 10x SuperCore providing the runtime environment which abstracts our feature development teams from the underlying infrastructure provision.

Your role demands that you’re a self-starter with a passion for software craftsmanship, ready to identify and articulate areas of improvement into deliverable features.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for a Platform Engineering Manager to join the team and own and drive the vision for the service going forward. We are looking for a Platform Engineering Manager who is passionate about working with cutting edge technologies, brings deep technical knowledge and experience with distributed systems to drive technical design and manage an experienced team. They will also become part of a call out team to provide live service to our clients.

10x Ways of Working
We recognise that a better work/life balance can improve people’s motivation, performance and overall wellbeing. The Covid-19 pandemic changed a lot of things about the way we work, including the enablement of colleagues working from various locations and delivering high performance through the effective use of remote working technology.
10x is a fully ‘remote enabled’ organisation and supports agile working. This role has a minimum office attendance requirement of approx. twice per quarter, in agreement with your line manager.
As all employees are employed on London-based contracts, commuting costs to the office are covered by employees and not by 10x.
