What will you be doing in this role:
- IT support, design, and troubleshooting of large Server and Storage Area Network (SAN) farms, as well as complex platforms.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of virtual environments, including VMware vSphere, vSAN, and Horizon.
- Server management and operating system knowledge (UNIX, Linux, Windows).
- Design, implementation, and administration of backup and restore solutions like VEEAM and StoreOnce.
- Administration of servers, blade systems, and composable infrastructure.
- Management of storage systems, including traditional SAN, CEPH, and VSAN.
- Managing OCP platform in DevOps mode with supporting systems like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka.
- Development, execution, and troubleshooting of automation scripts using Ansible and PowerShell.
- PKI and certificate administration.
- Administration of monitoring systems like Nagios and Splunk.
- Centralized deployment of software and updates.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- University discipline and at least 6 years of professional experience
- Advanced knowledge of OCP platform administration with supporting tools like Red Hat Service Mesh, GitHub, Helm, GitOps, Ansible Automation Platform, Kafka;
- Advanced script development and troubleshooting skills (Ansible, PowerShell);
- Active Directory (AD) / LDAP and Keycloak Management;
- Knowledge and experience with monitoring and observability systems (configuration, customisation, further development), Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Jaeger, NAGIOS and Splunk;
- Knowledge and advanced experience in Redhat, Windows OS administration of large farms;
- Advanced knowledge and experience with VMWare (vSphere, vSAN, Horizon);
- Knowledge and experience in administration of servers, bladesystems and composable infrastructure;
- Network Attached Storage (NAS) and distributed file systems;
- Knowledge and experience in administration of Backup & Storage systems (VEEAM, StoreOnce, vSAN, traditional SAN and CEPH);
Advantageous:
- Experience in software compliance monitoring and enforcement;
- Basic knowledge on DB systems, MS SQL, Oracle and Elastic search;
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills;
- Experience in managing highly available environments and multiple site support;
- Familiar with ITIL/ITIL V3 processes, in particular incident, change, capacity and configuration management.
