We are seeking a Plant Manager for our rapidly growing facility in Monterrey MX. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of the site's operational performance in financial, quality, service, safety, employee relations, and supply chain management. This role requires technical expertise in manufacturing and also change leadership. You will continue to develop and maintain an effective system of metrics, scorecards, governance and reviews to assure strategies and projects are aligned with business needs in a leading company where we value, recognize and reward individual and team success.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Activities may include, but are not limited to:
Leading change. The site is expanding in both sales and physical space. This requires strong leadership to ensure effective execution and collaboration by the team.
Foster a culture where safety is a core value in daily operation and strive towards an accident-free workplace. Support the processes and practices to build on the ISO14001 and ISO45001 certifications and ensure site compliance with legal, legislative and corporate safety requirements.
Be a visible leader capable of engaging team members at all levels of the organization and continue to grow a cohesive team with a culture, respect and engagement and calculated risk taking.
Attract, manage, develop and retain a staff of change agents to deliver results in a manner consistent with living the Avery Dennison leadership principles

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operation Management or equivalent
8+ years solid business experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in leading and developing individuals and teams.
Strong knowledge and experience with ISO 9000 Systems, preference for Automotive IATF16949 standard.
General business knowledge within the injection molding or extrusion industries.
Experience working in a Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated success in operations leadership, improvement process and in having the ability to understand and integrate consumer needs, marketing strategies and broader business challenges. Successful track record in a fast paced environment where flexibility and urgency to meet current customer requirements while also looking to the future and setting strategic direction.
