Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Planning Officer (fixed term) to join our Manufacturing Execution & Detailed Scheduling team in our Sapes premises

As a Planning Officer the ideal candidate will act in accordance with the production/packaging plan, issuing packaging orders and coordinating the warehouse for the appropriate transfer of materials to production.

More particularly:

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Follow planning department processes as defined by SOPs and TDRs requirements
  • Be responsible for stock management through the appropriate maintenance of the company’s ERP system
  • Following the production process completion, be responsible for recording all production quantities as well as the exhaustion data of packaging materials
  • Control raw materials’ and packaging materials’ stock following the production schedule
  • Update SAP with all finished products
  • Monitor inventory control

 

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

 

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP or similar ERP systems would be considered an asset
