Our Tax Development Center team consists of multiple highly qualified Software Engineers and Business Analysts, closely working together on complex tax-related functionalities. Your key tasks
Working with Oracle databases, PL/SQL development and Avaloq native scripting language (prior knowledge/experience not required)
Demonstrating ownership and taking responsibility for your area of expertise
Conducting analysis, designing, and developing new features within our team's scope of responsibility
Identifying and resolving software defects, as well as improving and optimizing existing functionality
Enhancing the quality of our functionality through automated testing and code reviews
This role can be based in Zurich or Berlin.
Excellent software engineering skills, with a deep understanding of software development processes and industry best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a commitment to high standards of quality
A team-oriented mindset and strong communication skills in English to facilitate close collaboration with colleagues and clients worldwide
It would be a real bonus if you have
Familiarity with Oracle database architecture and PL/SQL
Familiarity with German Tax Related Topics or previous experience in tax or financial services
A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics Engineering or similar fields
Avaloq Certified Customization Professionals (ACCP) Certification
German language skills are a plus
