About the team


We are a team focused on fraud prevention, particularly in the policy abuse vertical. Our mission is to
protect our company from various fraud typologies and ensure a good customer experience at the same
time. We handle cases referred to us from different departments and utilize a variety of tools and data
analysis techniques to make informed decisions promptly and accurately.

Roles & Responsibilities


● Investigate and analyze potential fraud cases across multiple sub-verticals (e.g., return fraud, item missing).
● Use Excel extensively to document, analyze, and report case findings.
● Utilize pre-written SQL and Python queries to extract and analyze data as needed.
● Review and interpret data to make informed decisions based on the information available.
● Communicate findings and decisions effectively with other team members and departments.
● Identify new and emerging fraud patterns, mitigate and cascade accordingly.
● Participate or initiate process improvements.
● Shifts are rotational, including weekends, to ensure coverage and timely handling of cases.

Qualifications & Experience

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Should be in a continuous career break for a minimum of 1 year at present.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
● Basic knowledge of SQL and Python is an added advantage.
● Ability to learn and adapt to various tools and technologies.
● Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to act quickly and accurately.
● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
● Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
● Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
● Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
