Business Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase market acceptance of the entire assigned product portfolio and strengthen the 'Santen' corporate brand in the Philippines.
- Understand the corporate marketing strategy and tailor it to local policies, devising strategies for pricing, product positioning, promotion, and sales channels to effectively reach target customer segments
- Formulate operational plans and budgets for the assigned product portfolio, aligning them with customer needs, business objectives, and country strategy, ensuring approval and successful implementation.
- Oversee the tactical plan for products, including program development, advertising, and sales support materials, ensuring the creation and management of diverse promotional materials to meet various customer requirements.
Driving Financial Performance:
- Take responsibility for achieving sales targets and managing the A&P (Advertisement & Promotion) and S&M (Sales & Marketing) campaign budget for the entire assigned product portfolio, including samples and marketing-initiated internal training
- Project sales forecasts and manage inventory levels effectively to support smooth supply chain management in collaboration with company RA/QA, SCM, and distributor teams.
- Forecast product sales and market growth, engaging in strategic planning and life-cycle management to maximize product performance.
- Manage the advertising and promotion budget efficiently to optimize marketing initiatives and drive financial success.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support and train Medical Representatives on product portfolios and commercial excellence intitiatives to ensure effective interactions with medical professionals, enhancing product knowledge and sales effectiveness
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by immediate superiors, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
- Operate at the Product Manager level with confidence and sophistication, delivering plans and executions independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration across Santen Philippines and collaborate with the Regional Patient Journey Solution team to align with regional strategies and objectives.
- University graduate in life sciences or related disciplines
- 2 years or above healthcare marketing experience in Ophthalmology, OR 5 years healthcare sales/marketing experience
- Highly self-driven and good leading skills to achieve goals
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint Presentation.
- Candidate will be considered as Associate Product Manager / Product Manager depending on his/her experience
- Occasional travel will be needed
