We’re seeking an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Audit, Assurance & Reporting Advisory team in Auckland. This is your chance to join a market leading professional services firm and develop your skills with an innovative, high-performing organisation that is committed to its people.
What will your typical day look like?
Supporting four business leaders in our AARA (Audit, Assurance and Reporting Advisory) team, you’ll easily adapt and build strong working relationships with them and the wider team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diary Management: actively managing diaries, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and pre-empting/early resolution of potential conflicts and issues.
- Working with the resourcing team, on a national basis, to schedule the wider team, including juggling conflicting priorities and clients.
- Producing and formatting high quality complex documents.
- Travel and Event Management: anticipate and coordinate flights, accommodation, meeting arrangements and some event management support for internal and external events.
- Dealing proactively with incoming correspondence/enquiries and responding as appropriate.
- Updating and maintaining key business applications including CRM, time management and billing systems.
- Playing an active role in promoting and developing office culture, including helping to drive initiatives and assist with managing communication.
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient office systems.
- Working with and supporting other PAs in our team across multiple offices.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, with a professional yet personable character. Being confident and client focused with the ability to communicate at all levels is essential for success in this role. The desire to continually learn and be challenged is important in this role as is exceptional attention to detail and the creative use of initiative in forward planning.
Other key skills are:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, higher proficiency in Word, and PowerPoint would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, regularly acting on your own initiative
- Exercise confidentiality, discretion, and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role
- Build a network of strong working relationships both internally and externally
- Experience working within a professional services/large corporate environment would be advantageous
- A continuous learner with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
