We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Permit Operations Lead to join our team. The Permit Operations Lead will be responsible for processing and managing the permit application process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of permit procedures.
Manage the end-to-end permit application process, including researching permit requirements, completing application forms, gathering supporting documentation, and submitting applications to relevant authorities.
Ensure that permit applications are complete and accurate and that all required documentation is provided to relevant authorities.
Monitor the status of permit applications and follow up with agencies as needed to expedite approvals
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding permit status, requirements, and updates.
Generate reports on permit status and provide updates to customers
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the permitting process, implementing best practices to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
4+ years experience in permit processing, construction administration, project management, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of construction plans and permit processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and process complex documents
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in computer applications, including Google and database management
