Your role in a nutshell  
  
Mindshare Melbourne is experiencing significant growth, creating an exciting opportunity for a Performance Group Director to join our team. 
  
In this role, you will be responsible for driving and managing an exceptional team across one of our key clients, NAB. We are seeking an expert in all performance crafts, with a particular focus on SEM. You will lead and support the ongoing performance strategy, ensuring alignment with business outcomes. 
  
You will play a key role in shaping the digital transformation roadmap, which includes developing best-in-class data strategies informed by CDPs.

This role will focus on  
  
People 
  • Live and breathe the GroupM values every day. 
  • Oversee biddable activation across your market, directly responsible for output and excellence. 
  • Accountable for attracting, developing, and retaining the best biddable activation talent in market. 
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, rigour, and development to the activation team in a variety of ways. 
  • Work with the talent team and craft leads to support and drive the onboarding experience for all new starters. 
  • Work with the talent team and craft leads to grow skills and capabilities of the team through custom-developed training and certification programs. 
  
Process and Operations  
  • Collaborate with agency and GroupM Nexus stakeholders to understand needs and anticipate areas for improvement. 
  • Oversee delivery standards across the group, ensuring a continuous improvement of process through leadership and strategic intervention. 
  • Lead by example, playing both an ambassadorial role across the group and a direct leader role to your teams. 
  • Work with global and regional counterparts, and agencies, to define the optimal process to ensure quality, efficiency, and accuracy in all biddable activation. 
  • Support the craft leaders in identifying and implementing tools, technology, data, and automation solutions through the group, and then ensuring maximum adoption. 
  • Maintain strong vendor and publisher relations, supporting the craft leads where required. 
  
Clients 
  • Support the agency in new business where required. 
  • Maintain a strong view of client satisfaction and proactively develop strategies for improvement in collaboration with agency stakeholders and craft leads. 
  • Accountable for resolving escalations, working in tandem with craft leads where required. 
  • Be a partner to the GroupM Nexus craft leads and agency chief digital & product/growth officers in leading our network’s biddable services offering. 
  
Commercial 
  • Maintain a strong view of commercial performance and make smart business decisions that improve key indicators such as cost to serve and billings to staff cost ratios. 
  • Through continual process improvement and supervision of outputs, ensure error rates and credits are kept at a minimum. 
  • Troubleshoot and proactively manage business challenges. 
  • Show expert grasp of the commercial, strategic, and technical elements of all relevant products and services
