About this team:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Consultant (Contractor or Fixed Term) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll modules, providing functional expertise and support to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and training sessions in Waikato (and Auckland).
Your typical day will include:
System Configuration:
. Configure and maintain PeopleSoft Payroll systems.
. Ensure compliance with organisational policies and statutory requirements.
Business Analysis:
. Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements.
Support & Maintenance:
. Provide day-to-day support for PeopleSoft Payroll applications.
. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
Testing & Documentation:
. Develop and execute test plans to ensure system integrity.
. Document system configurations, processes, and user guides

Experience:
. Minimum 5 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Payroll Functional Consultant.
. Proven experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll modules.
Skills:
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
. Proficient in SQL and PeopleSoft Query tools.
Preferred Qualifications
. Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2.
. Knowledge of New Zealand payroll standards and regulations.
. Project management experience.
