People Programs Manager

The People Programs Manager will manage the implementation of inclusion and engagement initiatives and coordinate the execution of those programs at SmartBear. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of People and Culture Programs, this role is essential in fostering an inclusive, equitable, and engaging workplace culture that aligns with the company's core values and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Diversity and Inclusion (D&I):
  • ERGs Management: Coordinate and support ERGs by providing resources and guidance, facilitating meetings, and ensuring their activities align with company goals.
  • Metrics Analysis: Regularly track diversity data and metrics, to highlight trends and areas for improvement, as well as preparing compliance reporting.
  • Inclusion: deliver training to employees at various levels, engage with remote employees program, and support equitable implementation of people processes.
  • Employer Brand: Work with the Marketing team to foster an inclusive employer brand, internally and externally.
  • Diversity hiring: Partner with TA to support diversity hiring programs, building relationships with organizations, job boards and schools to bring in diverse candidates.
Employee Engagement:
  • Culture Programs: Help design and execute programs like team-building events, company values focus, and cultural celebration days that foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Feedback Mechanisms: Coordinate employee surveys, focus groups, and suggestion programs to gather continuous feedback on workplace culture and engagement.
  • Engagement Reports: Implement action items from survey results.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG):
  • Philanthropy Programs: Support the strategic direction and delivery of SmartBear Gives Back, including organizing volunteer opportunities, managing donation matching programs, and coordinating corporate giving initiatives.
  • ESG Engagement: Foster a culture of social responsibility by organizing events like Earth Day celebrations, community clean-up projects, and sustainability webinars.
Key Requirements:

Program Management: Experience in managing and iterating employee engagement and culture programs, with effective management of multiple programs simultaneously
Data-Driven Approach: Proficient in analyzing data to assess and improve program effectiveness, including detailed reporting on employee feedback and demographics
Communication Skills: Skilled at building cross-departmental relationships and fostering collaboration.
Passion for Culture: Deep commitment to cultivating a positive workplace culture that celebrates diversity and promotes inclusivity.
Global Experience: Brings experience in catering to a global employee population, incorporating a worldwide perspective into their work.
Approachability & Balance: Approachable demeanor with the ability to balance passion with a deep understanding of context.
