As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and improving our people processes to support the lifecycle of our employees. You will spend approximately 70% of your time on core operational duties, such as managing our HR service desk and handling cyclical HR processes. The remaining 30% will be dedicated to project work aimed at evolving and scaling our employee experience.

How you will spend your time:

  • Act as the first line of support for all HR-related queries, including triaging, resolving, or escalating tickets as necessary.
  • Ensure a seamless experience during crucial touchpoints such as onboarding, offboarding, and promotions. This includes preparing relevant paperwork and making necessary system updates.
  • Oversee HR systems and integrations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Drive process improvements and implement solutions that streamline operations and support business functions like IT, Finance, and RevOps. Maintain and conduct regular audits of employee data in our HR Information System (HRIS) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Leverage data to surface key people analytics and trends, guiding decision-making for People Partners and Leaders.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive reports from HiBob (HRIS) for the SLT, Investors, and the Board, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and governance.
  • Contribute to workforce planning activity, such as M&A projects and geographic expansion opportunities (inc understanding people impacts, setting up systems, preparing paperwork, change & comms etc).
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation across various functions such as IT, Finance, People, and Revenue Operations, enhancing efficiency and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, People Partners, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Bring a continuous improvement mindset to refine and evolve existing people processes and policies.
  • Engage in strategic projects that aim to scale and enhance the employee experience as we grow.

About you:

  • At least 2 years in a People Operations or similar role, with an understanding of HR practices.
  • Proficiency in managing a service desk environment, including triaging, resolving, and escalating HR-related queries.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple inquiries under pressure (preferred).  
  • Competence in managing and analysing data within our HRIS to ensure accuracy and help facilitate data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and manage sensitive employee touch points effectively.
  • Capable of working with precision and pace in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams like Talent, IT, Finance, and Legal.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and equipped with a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
