Your Mission
We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist, to be the heart of our HR administration, providing essential support and guidance to our talented team members throughout their entire journey with us—from onboarding to offboarding. You’ll also collaborate closely with the People Team on initiatives that shape and enhance our company culture, ensuring that every employee’s experience is nothing short of outstanding.
About the People Team
You’ll be part of the Global People Team of 11 HR and Talent Acquisition professionals, and as a core member of both the Dutch and global team, you’ll report directly to our Head of People and take ownership of People Operations in the Netherlands and Germany. 12 month journey
The first 3 months: Immerse yourself in the world of Tellent—get to know our HR processes, our amazing team members (aka “Tellenties”), our locations, and the exciting People Projects we’re working on.
After 6 Months: You’ll be fully onboarded and taking full ownership of the employee lifecycle. This is your time to shine as you streamline HR processes, refine policies, and elevate the onboarding and offboarding experiences.
After 12 Months: You’ll be driving impact, contributing to our People Roadmap, and making meaningful improvements that resonate across the organization.
What you’ll do:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on benefits, leave, payroll, policies, and more.
Own and execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including delivering the PeopleOps orientation.
Collaborate regularly with managers, the People Team, and external stakeholders to address employment-related issues and ensure smooth operations.
Maintain personnel records and ensure data accuracy within our HRIS system (KiwiHR).
Manage and oversee the monthly Dutch and German payroll cycles, while coordinating with our EOR services for Portugal and Belgium.
Handle HR and Benefits administration, including contracts, addendums, personnel administration, and probation periods.
Lead and participate in impactful People Team projects to enhance team operations and employee experience.
Proactively identify inefficiencies and drive continuous process improvements.
Act as the primary contact for external providers (e.g., UWV, arbodienst, pensioenverzekering).
Oversee absence management, ensuring compliance with the “Wet verbetering Poortwachter”.
