ICEYE is building and operating its commercial constellation of small Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites with SAR data available to customers. Our satellites acquire images of Earth at any time – even when it’s cloudy or dark – providing commercial and government partners with unmatched persistent monitoring capabilities. Information derived from our SAR images helps customers make data-driven decisions to address time-critical challenges in various sectors, such as maritime, disaster management, insurance, and finance.

What will you do in this role?

We are seeking a skilled People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team in Warsaw, Poland. As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, with a focus on payroll management and compliance with local labor laws and practices. This role requires a meticulous individual with a deep understanding of Polish labor regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex HR systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processes in collaboration with external providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related inquiries, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline HR processes, implement automation solutions, and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation and exit interviews - if needed.
  • Handling pre-onboarding processes globally 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on payroll management and compliance.
  • Practical knowledge of Polish labor law, regulations, and local HR practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Polish and English.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in the tech industry or a similar fast-paced environment is a plus.
