Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized, confident, and dynamic self-starter to represent Digital Asset at our company headquarters in New York City. In this pivotal role, you will support the organizational goals of the firm while providing guidance to both visitors and coworkers as well as drive initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.

The People Operations Manager is responsible for managing the operational demands of the US office, while executing the strategic initiatives that scale and grow the operational efficiency in the region in coordination with the People Operations Managers from the offices in EMEA and in APAC. The People Operations Manager is great at both creating new operational processes as well as improving systems currently in use by our growing, high impact team.

The Global Operations team is a fundamental pillar of Digital Asset. The People Operations Managers work with teams from various functions across regions and manage the inner processes of our business to support the growth of the company. You will help solve issues and create effective, scalable solutions to help drive efficiency, ensuring that Digital Asset runs as productively as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a point of contact and support for the America region and in particular, on-site in th New York City office.
  • Development and implementation of standards for operating processes, governance and reporting as well as supporting the budgeting and cost management for the Operations function.
  • Looks for new partnerships and maintains / expands current partnerships with the office services suppliers base.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with regional operational managers and business functional managers.
  • Create, implement and enforce  company policies and practices consistent with local norms, culture, tradition, and law.
  • Driving employee engagement through a variety of engagement strategies including employee engagement surveys, group discussions and organizing team events.
  • Process new hire onboarding and employee exits in coordination with the HR team.
  • Process employment authorization/visa requirements in coordination with the Legal and HR teams.
  • Perform office administrative duties (office management, building access, equipment purchasing, etc) in coordination with our IT/CSO team.

Key Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in a similar role. 
  • Previous experience working in a project management role balancing strategic projects with repetitive day-to-day tasks.
  • Ability to strive in a rapidly changing environment, including the skill to prioritize and handle ad-hoc requests including managing day to day interactions.
  • Sound experience working with cross-functional teams, partners and vendors to implement and execute strategic company initiatives.
  • Exceptionally organized and experienced in communicating across multiple teams, geographies, and functions.
  • Proven success leading initiatives from initial conception to successful delivery with effective communication between all stakeholders and within the agreed budget and timelines.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Must have exceptional judgement and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in complex scenarios.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of business ethics, reliability, precision and integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with ability to advise and influence internal teams, candidates and customers alike.
  • Must be fluent in English, ability to speak additional languages is a bonus.

Pay Transparency: The estimated salary range for this role, based in our New York City office, is $110,000 to $125,000. The range may vary if based outside the New York tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). Base salaries are determined during our interview process, during which we assess the candidate's experience, skills and capabilities against internal peers and the scope and responsibilities of the position.
