We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a People Operations Coordinator & Office Manager. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our UK office while also providing support for people administration across the UK and US regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to ensure the smooth functioning of both office and HR-related tasks.

Office Management Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the UK office, including facilities management, supplies procurement, and vendor management.
  • Manage office budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to company policies.
  • Coordinate office events, meetings, and employee activities to foster a positive and thriving work environment.

People Operations Responsibilities:

  • Assist with various HR administrative tasks such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support the overall employee experience.

Tier 1 Employee Relations Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide Tier 1 Employee Relations Support, including listening to employee concerns and connecting them with the appropriate resources and support.

Cross-Regional Support Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for people operations activities in both the UK and US regions, including but not limited to payroll processing, leave management, and employee data management.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate People Team personnel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations in both the UK and US, staying abreast of changes and updates that may impact HR practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in office management, HR administration, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with UK employment laws and regulations; knowledge of US employment laws is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS software; experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
