What You’ll Be Doing:
We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to own onboarding and payroll administration. You’ll be part of a remote-friendly team reporting directly to the Senior Manager of People Operations and working closely with the Senior People Operations Generalist.
In this role you’ll:
- Act as the administrative expert for the entire employee lifecycle, supporting the end-to-end administration of onboarding, role changes, and offboarding, all managed through Rippling.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, representing Grow throughout their onboarding journey and welcome sessions. A passion for Grow’s culture and product is essential for success in this role.
- Own onboarding duties include managing new hire communications, conducting background and exclusion checks, and coordinating with internal stakeholders regarding onboarding logistics.
- Manage benefits administration including billing reconciliation, Evidence of Insurability requests and partnering with our broker to fully resolve employee benefits inquiries.
- Provide general administrative support for the People function and serve as main point of contact for inbound employee requests via our ticket management system
- Communicate effectively with a high level of customer service and maintain a professional working relationships within Grow and other third-party vendors
- Responsible for providing payroll administration support to Senior People Operations Generalist as needed
- Identify issues and concerns as they arise and proactively recommending a plan for resolution
Salary range: $73,000-85,000
You’ll Be a Good Fit If:
- You are adaptable, agile, and have People Operations experience at a startup or fast growing organization
- You have strong foundational understanding of payroll administration practices
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a diversity of people in a high-touch, personalized manner.
- You are highly proficient with Microsoft Excel & Google Suite and have strong analytical skills
- You are comfortable with a high volume and evolving workload; open-minded to learning new skills
- You have the ability to maintain and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgment, and the highest standard of honesty and integrity.
- You have an understanding of industry laws, regulations and standards
