The role ✨
We are currently looking for a People Ops & Workplace Manager based in Warsaw, overseeing the HR Ops. & Workplace matters in Poland, working alongside the People Team in Spain, which manages the Business Department in Spain, Poland and Italy.
You will join the People Team and will report to Javier Perez, based in Spain, Senior People Operations Manager.
What will I be doing? 🤔
- People/ HR support:
- Helping to lead Stuart’s People team for the Business Department in Poland
- Creating and implementing local HR policies and processes
- Owning Employee relations matters, liaising with the legal team when needed and acting as an escalation point for complex issues
- Providing guidance on Employment Relations relations and practices e.g.: grievances, performance issues, dismissals, procedures and compliance
- Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency
- Collaborating and coordinating global projects with the Culture and Workplace, Talent Development, and Talent Acquisition
- Working with Hibob as the HRIS system and helping to support data management/ maintenance
- Management of the visa process and leading the payroll for the relevant countries
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
- Workplace & Culture Support:
- Acting as a receptionist by greeting vendors and suppliers and providing general support to visitors
- Managing inbound and outbound mail and shipping
- Supporting maintaining a positive work atmosphere
- Facility Management:
- Maintaining a well organized work environment and organize office operations and procedures
- Managing relationships and contracts with vendors and service providers
- Being in charge of ordering and stocking office & kitchen supplies
- Coordinating with owners for the proper maintenance of the facilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures are in place and are followed
- Engagement & culture:
- Collaborating with the team on engagement activities and assisting with organizing events (social, company meetings, meet-ups, etc.)
- Helping to set up the onboarding agenda for the new joiners
- Being accountable for the engagement budget and organize activities to enhance a positive workplace experience
What do we need from you? 😎
- Previous experience working in a fast paced environment like a fast moving scale up or start up experience
- Ideally 4+ relevant experience with 1+ year of management or mentoring experience
- People Champion - someone who is people oriented, really passionate about fostering an inclusive culture within Stuart and celebrating our individuality
- Ability to problem solve in the short and long term - ability to process map (Project Management skills)
- Confident communicating with multiple stakeholders - written and oral, Presentation skills, Employee Relations knowledge and legislation, IT literate and competent with G- suite application
- High level of empathy, management skills, creative, open to change & adaptation, flexible
- Fluent in English and Polish
