Entrata's People Department is looking for an entry-level HR Generalist based in our Lehi, UT Headquarters. As part of our People team, you'll assist in daily HR operations, help team members navigate various HR processes, and ensure a smooth and supportive experience for our workforce. Responsibilities
- Assist in employee communication, documentation, and record maintenance throughout the employee life cycle
- Provide administrative support to the People Business Partners, including organizing documentation and preparing reports and materials for People Business Partner needs
- Learn, develop and become subject matter in assigned areas of focus. and share insights and information with other members of the team
- Help maintain a positive and responsive employee experience by assisting with day-to-day employee relation tasks
- Track key metrics from HR data (e.g., survey results, turnover rates) to guide recommendations and improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with People team members to participate in various HR initiatives and projects
- Help update and maintain People team documentation, including handbooks and internal policies
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and assist in adherence to state and local employment laws
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 0-1 years of relevant Human Resources experience (internships or HR coursework may count)
- Basic understanding of HR laws, guidelines, and best practices
- Ability to track and interpret HR-related data, identify trends, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Proficient with google Suite or similar software
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or Workday
- Experience with basic data analysis and interpretation (e.g., analyzing employee surveys, HR metrics, or headcount reports)
- Interest in pursuing HR certifications (PHR or SHRM-CP certification)
