Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role is focused on operational excellence in HR, covering essential tasks such as payroll, benefits administration, and HR records management. You will play a key part in ensuring our HR processes run efficiently and support the company’s strategic goals.
Beyond your core responsibilities, you will have opportunities to participate in other key HR areas, including recruitment and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits and Records Management:
• Payroll Management: Oversee monthly payroll adjustments in close collaboration with the payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely payments. Handle any payroll-related queries and ensure compliance with Belgian and internal guidelines.
• Employee Benefits Administration: Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pension schemes, and other benefits. Provide guidance to employees on benefit-related inquiries and assist with annual reviews and renewals of benefits packages. Ensure all HR processes comply with local labor laws and company policies.
• HR Records Management: Ensure all employee records are accurately maintained and updated in compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage our HRIS' (Human Resources Information Systems) and ensure data integrity and security.
• General HR Administration: Perform general ad-hoc HR administrative tasks as required to support the office’s operational needs, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
Requirements
At least 3 years of proven experience in Belgian HR operations is required, particularly with a focus on payroll, benefits administration, and HR records management. We seek candidates who can bring a strong foundation in these areas to ensure operational excellence.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll software.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple HR processes efficiently.
• Experience in talent acquisition and learning & development is a distinct advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Good grasp of Belgian employment law.
• Our workplace uses English as the official language of communication, so fluency is essential. A strong level of French and/or Dutch is a must in order to be able to communicate with formal Belgian external partners and organisations.
