Hybrid working (Working from home/Gloucester/Sheffield/Tamworth Offices) with Travel

We are on the look out for a People Business Partner to work closely with key stakeholders and the wider People Team to develop, shape and deliver people plans and solutions for our Risk & Compliance business area.

What will I be doing as a People Business Partner?

  • Managing all People related activity within our Risk & Compliance division (Tersus Consultancy).
  • Build key strategic stakeholder relationships at exec and senior leader level.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop strategic people management plan, including talent and succession planning, building capability, and driving performance.
  • Work with our Talent Acquisition Manager to ensure vacancies are qualified, in budget and a strategy has been developed for candidate attraction / selection
  • Develop the reporting, display and monitoring of people based KPI’s for key stakeholders, including absence analysis, return to work interviews, labour attrition etc.
  • Ensure managers are trained and coached in all aspects of their approach to people management, compliance, and development practices, working with our other Business Partners and wider colleagues to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach.
  • Support driving and delivering our equality, diversity and Inclusion goals.

There are masses of scope, and we think it will really suit a passionate and commercially focused People Business Partner, with some previous experience (not essential) overseeing an asbestos/environmental services division.

Requirements

About You

  • CIPD L5 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working in the Environmental Sector (Desirable)
  • Experience of planning and executing organisational change programs
  • Experience of influencing and challenging Senior Level Managers & Exec team
