Your influential mission. You will...
- Lead P&C strategic initiatives for the UK
- Communicate with Senior Management and provide high-level advice on employee issues, reporting
- Ensure legal compliance throughout P&C department, including internal (P&C dept) audits from time to time
- Work alongside the P&C Team:
- To ensure P&C policies, procedures and processes are reviewed and up to date
- To ensure and update the annual review of our UK intranet, P&C policies, guides processes and ‘how to’ documents; including policies, remuneration and benefits
- To ensure the learning and development programme
- Support and lead the D&I and employee wellbeing agenda for the UK
- Support the recruitment strategy
- To name a few!
- Carry out investigations and manager complex grievances, disciplinaries and other employee associated needs (may be at different UK sites) when required
- Support annual performance appraisals, compensation, training needs and benefits projects.
- Assist with the management of monthly Payroll
- Support Global P&C projects when required
Components for success. You have...
- Ideally CIPD qualified to level 5/above or similar qualification
- An understanding of the employee journey from selection and on-boarding through to termination
- Carried out a P&C Advisory role
- Had responsibility or high-level input to all areas of the employee journey including:
- performance management
- grievance procedures
- disciplinary procedures
- redundancy processes
- writing fit for purpose training programmes, policies and processes
- HRIS system
- Proven experience using Microsoft office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, electronic file management and other system experience.
- Proactively created processes
- Meticulous attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise tasks on a daily basis whilst keeping to deadlines
- Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships with empathy, political awareness and confidentiality
