YOUR ROLE
Your focus is to provide a high-quality HR service supporting the needs and priorities of RAPP and our individuals. You will be dealing with day-to-day people management matters, but you also help to implement and deliver key initiatives.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Senior People Manager on employee related cases offering practical advice to find solutions.
- Advise and support employees and managers on life cycle stages ensuring they are dealt with appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Employee Relations support including managing:
- Maternity, paternity & shared parental leave cases.
- Performance management issues, absence management cases and probation cases.
- Oversee the new starter and leaver process with the People Coordinator to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding for all new joiners including updating and conducting regular HR Inductions, covering HR inductions with People Coordinator when required.
- Support Senior People Team on the various People Cycle’s (e.g Salary/Promotion Reviews, Talent Mapping, FORs (in partnership with L&D) in partnership with wider team.
- Manage the administration and running of Agency Inductions.
- Manage visa and immigration process including annual internal Visa and Immigration audit.
- Manage the administration, recording and tracking of career conversations across the agency, including new manager training.
- Manage the reporting and tracking of 3:2 data, support line managers in identifying issues and escalating exemption requests.
- Oversea the exit interview process –carry out exit interviews for mid/senior stakeholders and highlight key areas to the People team and add to our monthly stats.
- Work with the People Coordinator to ensure probation reviews are completed on time and help with any performance issues/conversations.
- Help drive the agencies well-being and Diversity & Inclusivity offering.
- To support People Director/Managers with:
- Projects including policies/procedures & benefits.
- Managing performance review process ensuring these are happening and giving training to new line mangers.
- To monitor, review and update all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation
- Oversees benefits administration & relationship management with our benefit brokers.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Solid HR experience with a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Able to self-manage effectively and to work under pressure with employees at all levels.
- Able to deal with difficult situations with tact and a sure hand.
- Able to distill information and give sound recommendations for action.
- Easy and natural communicator who shares information readily.
- Works in an organised and structured way; strives to always deliver to deadline.
- Good numeric ability, accurate with high attention to detail.
- IT literate with experience of HR systems.
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Degree level education.
- Professional HR qualification desirable.
- Experience of working in the creative industry desirable.
