We are looking for a Data Entry BOM (BUSINESS OF MATERIALS) assistant to join us in advancing the industry forward. 
 
Position Summary:
SKIMS is looking for a detail-oriented and organized PD Assistant & BOM Entry to join our production team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely entry of all technical documentation related to the product, specifically within the bill of materials. You will support the supply chain and procurement processes by tracking each phase, from prototyping to production, in our systems. The ideal candidate will be efficient, possess strong data management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·      BOM Data Entry: Accurately input of Product materials information into the company’s database and ensure all entries are completed in a timely manner.
·      Data Management: Maintain accurate records of development WIPS ensuring that data is up-to-date and readily accessible in WFX.
Assist with Package send off and distribution.
Support adherence to development calendar milestones/deadlines
·      Updates & Revisions: Make necessary updates and revisions to existing BOM as directed by the procurement or sourcing teams.
·      Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement, production, and design teams to ensure all BOM details align with order requirements, budgets, and timelines.
·      Reporting: Generate and distribute reports related to BOM, including open BOM status
·      Quality Control: Verify the accuracy of data before submission, double-checking for any discrepancies or missing information.
·      Vendor Coordination: Assist in communicating with vendors to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules.
·      Support Special Projects: Provide administrative and operational support for ad hoc projects related to procurement, supply chain and product development.
 Qualifications:
·      High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
·      1-2 years of experience in data entry, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
·      Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data.
·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP or PLM systems is a plus.
·      Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
·      Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
·      Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
·      Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
