WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

We are looking for a high-energy, bright individual to help support the US payroll process for our multi-state payroll.  This role will be the point of contact for employees’ service desk tickets and inquiries, reconcile and analyze payroll data in line with established procedures and payroll compliance.  We’re looking for 2+ years payroll experience through working experience and education, a game-changers who will take charge of our US payroll processing timely and accurately, follow audit steps and controls, reliable and a key support role for the payroll team. WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees queries through tickets in a timely manner 

  • Run post audit payroll reports from Workday and ADP and prepare final output reports. Review expected results for completeness and accuracy, Submit for final approval to the Payroll Manager   

  • Process payroll transactions for non-exempt hours, W-2 recording and reconcile payroll upload files into Workday

  • Prepare and calculate special checks and/or on demand, i.e., termination pay, etc. 

  • Reconcile 401k/Roth contributions and support with SOX and various audits 

  • Effective collaboration with the global People teams, Legal, and Finance on general payroll matters with cross functional impact. Specifically, but is not limited to, new hire processes, cash, bonus and other non-recurring payment processing, and terminations.   

  • Assist with or be responsible for other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned. 

WHO YOU ARE 

Experience and Education

  • 3+ years relevant experience through work and education   

  • Experience with multi-state payrolls

  • Workday HRIS and/or payroll system experience a plus 

  • Customer service background a plus 

Preferred skills

  • High functioning, working knowledge of payroll processing, best practices and audit controls

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 

  • Self motivated and deadline driven to complete tasks with limited supervision. 

  • Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and confidentiality

  • Strong system knowledge and ability to learn new process easily 

  • Strong communication skills

  • Team-oriented approach – works well with cross functional teams
