About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Intern to join our dynamic Compensation & Benefits team. The Payroll Intern will support the Payroll, Comp & Ben department in various administrative and operational tasks. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and insight within a vibrant and supportive environment.

What will you do

  • Support the hiring and onboarding process for new employees by preparing and collecting orientation materials 
  • Maintain and update employee records and HRIS databases with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Provide administrative support to the Payroll, Comp & Ben team, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll for employees and payroll-related documents and reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Payroll policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior Payroll experience, and/or experience with any Payroll and HR systems, like Hi-Bob,  is a plus but not required.
