Τhe role

The role will involve reporting to the HR Manager, providing administrative support to the Human Resources team and contributing in the efficient operation of processing Payroll.

You will assist with all aspects of the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll, including setting up new employee hires, processing changes, entering payroll information and calculating wages.

Additionally, you will support the HR Team, by lending high-quality HR administration assistance to our International offices (Bulgaria, Czech, Germany, Malta, Romania and any new other countries in the region), being involved in HR administration. 

 

 Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and the conduction of payroll in the assigned countries;
  • Manage and process payroll-related procedures (recruitment, retirement, salary adjustments and amendments to working hours and contracts) in the assigned countries;
  • Administer work schedules for all employees, review timesheets for accuracy and perform pre-production audits prior to processing payroll;
  • Handle the administration of the leave management system and relevant employee information for payroll functions (annual leaves, work shift schedules etc.);
  • Ensure compliance with the Employment Law (on Payroll) and internal policies;
  • Prepare and submit reports related to payroll issues or benefits;
  • Respond to inquiries about pay-related data to employees, investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll;
  • Maintain contact with our payroll providers in the assigned countries and provide them the required data for the monthly payroll calculations;
  • Support employee requests regarding human resources policies and processes;
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations to our International offices (Bulgaria, Czech, Germany, Malta and Romania).

 

 Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration in one or more of the countries of scope (Bulgaria, Czech, Germany, Malta, Romania).
  • Knowledge of local payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity using Excel and spreadsheets.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze problems and data accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • BSc in Human Resources Management, Accounting or relevant field.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
